Signed and dated lower left: 'A: Klomp 1667'. On the panel old paper label with the collection note of 'Caesarewitsch Konstantin Pavlovich of Warsaw' in Russian. Furthermore old inventory numbers 'No.1187' and 'No.11' (possibly) of the Hermitage in St. Petersburg applied in black. In addition possibly Imperial Tsarist wax seal of Konstantin Pavlovich. Part.min. old rest, slight old retouching. Frame. According to the paper label on the reverse the painting once was in the collection of Tsar Konstantin Pavlovich in Warsaw and was transferred to the collection of the Hermitage in Saint Petersburg in 1839. The English translation literally reads: 'This painting was in the collection of the Marble Palace and was brought from Warsaw after the death of His Majesty Caesarevich Konstantin Pavlovich and transferred to the Hermitage on 21 February 1839 by order of the Emperor'. Laut rueckseitigem Papierlabel befand sich das Gemaelde einst in der Sammlung des Zaren Konstantin Pawlowitsch in Warschau und wurde 1839 in die Sammlung der Eremitage in Sankt Petersburg ueberfuehrt. Woertlich heisst es dort in deutscher UEbersetzung: 'Dieses Bild befand sich in der Sammlung des Marmorpalastes und wurde nach dem Tod seiner Majestaet Caesarewitsch Konstantin Pawlowitsch aus Warschau gebracht und am 21.
