A Meissen chinoiserie group of a woman with two children, circa 1745
Modelled by P. Reinicke, the seated mother wearing a long puce-lined jacket decorated with flower sprigs and with a long yellow belt over a turquoise skirt and yellow shies, one child dressed in puce and holding a yellow hat seated on her lap, the second child to her right wearing a yellow tunic with puce sash, the base applied with leaves and flowers, 13.9cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, (minor chips and restoration)

Condition
The tip of her topknot is chipped.
There is restoration to the three hair tufts on the head of the standing child; the object in his right hand is broken off; there is a small flat chip to the back of his left heel. There is a miniscule flat chip to the tip of the tassel of her yellow belt at the rear (that she is holding in her left hand). There are very small chips to the edges of two applied leaves (the breaks retouched in green), and two of the applied flowers on the base.
Otherwise in good condition.
