ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC FIGURES, LOT OF TWO, each having polychrome enamel decorations and decorated in the round, comprising a sitting woman with flowering tree bocage to back, holding a piece of bread, and jug at feet, having "WIDOW" impressed to base front, and the goddess Diana, wearing a flowing dress, shawl, and sandals with quiver of arrows on back and bow in right hand. Unmarked. First quarter 19th century. 11 5/8" HOA.
