ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC COBBLER AND HIS WIFE LARGE FIGURES, LOT OF TWO, each seated on square bases and wearing threadbare clothing, comprising a man fixing a shoe while a dog peeps out from under his stool, and a woman pouring a drink into a tumbler, with a cat peering out from under her stool, decorated in the round. Each impressed "34" to underside. Third quarter 19th century. 12 3/4" to 13" HOA.
Excellent visual condition, each having some paint touch-ups.
