ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC FIGURES, LOT OF FIVE, comprising a tree-form spill vase example depicting a figure resting on rocks above a waterfall, playing a drum, with dog and goose at feet, a figural group featuring two figures with sheep and dogs, nestled in applied shredded clay grass with tree to middle, a standing zebra on a molded ovoid base, and a pair of recumbent sheep resting on a molded ovoid base. 19th century. 6 1/4" HOA.

Sheep pair and figural sheep and figures group undamaged, group possibly having minute losses to applied clay decorations; spill vase having some professional restoration including goose's head, drum stick, and hand; zebra having restoration to ears and back front leg, bottom sprayed, each slightly yellowing.
