Description
ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC FIGURES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising a pair depicting the cobbler and his wife, each seated on square bases and wearing threadbare clothing, comprising a man fixing a shoe and a woman pouring a drink into a tumbler, and two examples featuring a child in a molded basketweave cradle with two rockers to underside. Marks to underside include "27" and "28". 19th century. 6 3/4" HOA.

Cobbler and woman having some restoration including paint touch-ups, some flaking; each cradle example having moderate imperfections including loss to canopy top, one having chips to edge and loss to both rockers.
