ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC FIGURES, LOT OF FOUR, each having ovoid base, comprising two spill vases with molded tree to back including one featuring a standing figure holding a shepherd's staff with two recumbent sheep and one depicting a sitting kilted figure with a dog at side and a long-tailed bird perched to tree, and two examples featuring standing figures in kilts with applied shredded clay grass. Unmarked. Second/third quarter 19th century. 12 3/8" HOA.

Condition
Each having minor imperfections and moderate crazing, shepherd figure with hairline to front lower leg; figure with bird and dog having some minor faint hairlines to lower back and at neck; kilt figure with feather in hat having glued repair to foot; remaining kilt figure with professional restoration to hat brim, a bruise and flake to back base edge.
