ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC FIGURES, LOT OF FIVE, each on ovoid base, comprising two blacksmith examples featuring a man standing next to an anvil including one with "BLACKSMITH" embossed to front of base, one example featuring "G. HAVELOCK", embossed to front of base, depicting a bearded military man on horseback, one example featuring "Beaconsfield", hand-brushed to front of base, depicting Benjamin Disraeli standing beside a column, and one alliance group example with "TURKEY ENGLAND FRANCE", embossed to front of base, portraying Abd-ul-Medjid, Queen Victoria, and Napoleon Bonaparte III. Second/third quarter 19th century. 16" HOA.

Four undamaged, except "Beaconsfield" having moderate crazing and some with minor scattered wear to enamel and/or gilt decorations; "Havelock" with radial hairline to end of base and professional restoration to horse's front legs.
