ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC FIGURAL GROUPS, LOT OF FOUR, each on oval base with polychrome enamel decorations, comprising one example featuring Queen Victoria and Albert standing under an umbrella, one example depicting a sleeping Princess Royal and the Prince of Wales with guardian angel standing above them, one "Auld Lang Syne" example featuring three men, one wearing a kilt, and sharing drinks, and one example featuring a man and woman with baskets of grapes. Unmarked. Second/third quarter 19th century. 7" to 10 5/8" HOA.
Grape gatherers undamaged, except most having moderate crazing with some expected wear to enamel decorations; umbrella example with some professional restoration; angel with restoration to hand; "Auld Lang Syne" example having restoration to hands in front with minute flake to hat brim.
