A Vienna figure of a jug seller, circa 1760

Carrying an assortment of jugs and a small brazier, wearing a black hat, pink coat and purple-striped grey breeches, the base moulded with leaves at the front, 16cm high, shield mark in underglaze-blue, incised B (minor restoration)

The brim of his hat is restored: a piece has been restuck on either side, and there is a small flat chip of overpainting missing at the front, and a small, narrow edge of flaking to the edge on his left side.
The two front short legs of the brazier on the top of his pile are restored, and the third leg has some narrow retouching to one side.
His left hand is restuck at the wrist and the thumb is restored: there is extensive discoloured, dried-out old overpainting to the cuff of his coat and back of his hand.
There are a few tiny specks of enamel lacking to the tip of his left shoe.
Otherwise in good condition.
