Description
Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Guerrero / Mezcala, ca 300 BCE. Two rare stone tools, perhaps used in the creation of pottery, but certainly some form of ancient stone chisel. Each of long polished green to black hardstone and each with small indention at working edge. Despite great research this is the first time this author has encountered such an implement, let alone two. Size: 6" L (15.2 cm)
