"Master Humphrey's Clock" was a weekly periodical edited and written entirely by Charles Dickens and published from April 4, 1840 to December 4, 1841. It begins with a frame story in which the book's namesake, Master Humphrey, forms a literary club with a small circle of friends. Throughout its publication, Master Humphrey's Clock would amass a number of short stories and two novels: "The Old Curiosity Shop" and "Barnaby Rudge". However, some of the short stories act as frame stories to the novels, making the publication order important.
This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
