Description
A shaved horn without engraved decoration, with tag inscribed by Dr. George McCauley of Hagerstown, MD, c. 1903, stating "used by Old Robert Hindman of Cecil Co., MD. (identified with Robert Hindman, Sr., 1781-1855, resident of Cecil Co., buried in West Nottingham Cemetery, served as a private in the 30th Regt. (Miller's) of the Maryland militia in war of 1812); cow horn, thinned and polished, with conical butt cap, 12 3/8 in. L.
