Lincoln-Related Archive (50+) Signed Addresses, Postcards, Engravings, Etc.

A collection of over 50 Lincoln-related items including signed memorials, engravings, certificates, postcards, cartes-de-visite, and a Punch Magazine illustration. Please refer to the photographs for further information on what is included and the condition of the archive. Several of the addresses and signed documents have flattened folds, with minor toning and soiling. Overall, very fine.

Of the group, twelve are printed Gettysburg Addresses which have been signed and inscribed by more modern admirers of Lincoln, including Harry M. Daugherty, Col. Edward House, Jonathan Daniels, Christian A. Herter, Roy O. West, Kurt Schuschnigg, Patrick Hurley, Alice Hay Wadsworth, and Gifford Pinchot. There are also five autograph manuscripts signed which discuss the impact that Lincoln had during his presidency. The 18 Lincoln-themed postcards are from the turn of the century, with a mix of handwritten or blank versos. The two included certificates are related to the Lincoln Farm Association and the U.S. Treasury.
