A small archive of signed photographs, a typed letter signed, and a caricature cartoon from a variety of American presidents. With six items in total and including Presidents Hoover, Truman, Ford, Carter, and Bush, together with a letter from the presidential nominee, Barry M. Goldwater. The group has varying degrees of toning and soiling. The signed cards have mounting on verso. Folds to the typed letter. All with bold signatures. 1. Harry Truman Signed Card, measuring 3.5" x 2". Signed "Harry Truman."
2. Herbert Hoover Signed Card, measuring 3.5" x 2". Signed "Herbert Hoover."
3. George H.W. Bush Caricature, measuring 8" x 7.5". Signed "George Bush", a cartoonish sketch of George Bush and Barbara Bush, done in black ink.
4. Jimmy Carter Signed Photo, measuring 8" x 9.75". A black and white photograph of a smiling Carter, casually leaning on a fence post. On verso is written in another hand, "To Bob King from Don and 'Rach' and 'Jimmy'."
5. Gerald Ford Signed Photo, measuring 8" x 10". Signed "Gerald Ford" in blue ink. A professional photograph of Ford, dressed in a dark suit, in an office.
6. Barry M. Goldwater Jr. Typed Letter Signed, measuring 8.5" x 11", Washington, D.C., dated June 16, 1981. Signed "Barry" and addressed to Peter Erickson on House of Representatives letterhead. Goldwater discusses his postage stamp proposal currently moving through the legislative process and alternatives to printing corporate logos on stamps. Together with its original transmittal envelope.
