**First Time At Auction**
Pre-Columbian, Northern Mexico and Southwestern United States, New Mexico, Casas Grandes, ca. 1200 to 1450 CE. A handsome trio of redware vessels, each boasting attractive forms with rounded bases and bulbous bodies that narrow to annular rims. Enveloped in deep burgundy-hued pigment, two of the jars are hand-painted with black horizontal bands of nested, geometric motifs. The remaining vessel resembles the shape of a basket and features a warm shade of orange pigment. Size of tallest (basket): 7.5" Diameter x 8" H (19 cm x 20.3 cm); of widest (jar without handles): 8.5" Diameter x 6" H (21.6 cm x 15.2 cm)

Condition
All 3 have been professionally repaired and restored with overpainting on break lines and expected nicks and abrasions, commensurate with age. Otherwise, all have an elegant presentation and nice remaining pigments.
