A fantastic archive of nearly 50 letters written from the Franklin D. Roosevelt administration, Governors and Senators of the time to Edward N. Hurley, the former chairman of the Federal Trade Commission. Most are dated June of 1933 and included in the group are letters from Presidential Candidate Alfred Smith, the Secretary of the Treasury, Attorney General, Secretary of War, and more! In fine condition, please refer to photos.
Edward Nash Hurley (1864-1933) was an Irish American businessman and inventor who served as the second chairman of the Federal Trade Commission from July 1, 1916 to January 31, 1917.
