A free frank stamped June 12, (no year), Washington D.C. and addressed to "C Ingersoll Esq" the Chancellor of Law in Philadelphia. Boldly signed by the three-time Presidential candidate Henry Clay and encapsulated by PSA/DNA and graded NM-MT 8. With expected folds from mailing. Document: 3.25" x 4.75". The slab measures 4.25" x 7.25".

Henry Clay Sr. (177-1852) was an American attorney and statesman who represented Kentucky in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. He was the seventh House speaker as well as the ninth secretary of state, also receiving electoral votes for president in the 1824, 1832, and 1844 presidential elections.
