**First Time At Auction**
Central Asia, Indus Valley, Harappan/Mohenjo-Daro civilization, ca. 2700 to 2000 BCE. A wheel-thrown terracotta vessel with a diminutive footed base, sloping side walls, a deep bowl cavity, slightly flared rim, and thin overall composition. The interior has a small dark painted band around the rim, and the exterior displays finely-detailed horizontal linear bands and stepped designs, each repeating around the circumference of the bowl. A fine example! Size: 3.625" W x 2.625" H (9.2 cm x 6.7 cm).
