Central Asia, Tibet, ca. early 20th century CE. A thick wooden panel with a projecting handle, hand-carved, with incised auspicious symbols sacred in Tibetan Buddhism. One side has a maze-like form, while the other has a spiral. The wood is dark from touch. Size: 1.9" W x 3.9" H (4.8 cm x 9.9 cm)
