A signed and inscribed photograph by President Harry Truman. Measuring 8" x 10", [Washington, D.C.], dated April 13, 1946. Signed and inscribed below the image "Best wishes to Cecil W. Stoughton, Harry S. Truman, Gridiron Dinner 4/13/46, Geo Allen in rear." Truman is photographed in black tie and a top hat. Slight warping to the photograph. Boldly signed, with some slight skipping to the signature and inscription.

Cecil W. Stoughton would later become the White House photo for President John. F. Kennedy. The Gridiron Club and Foundation, founded in 1885, is the oldest and one of the most prestigious journalistic organizations in Washington, D.C.
