Probably Summarian. Carved Gray Stone Cylinder Seal of an Octopus, apprx 26 x 6mm. Well carved in gray stone, image of an Octopus with define legs, marked with dots, two bulging eyes and well formed body, with a textured background representing water. Simple and elegant in it's carving. This seal comes with a modern impression, however without typed description by W. G. Lambert. From the collection of Juliane and Philip Lynch, Shaker Heights, Ohio.
Condition: well carved, no chips, a fine impression in a very good state of preservation.
