Description
Ancient Near East, Mesopotamia, ca. 2000 to 1500 BCE. A carved and inscribed stone cylinder seal with a presentation scene of a supplicant worshipper being presented by a larger figure to a seated deity. There is a wto line cuneiform inscription which, although untranslated, is very readable and probably could be. Size: 0.4" W x 0.8" H (1 cm x 2 cm)
