Central Asia, Sumer, Mesopotamia, modern day Iraq, ca. 2100 BCE. Finely carved stone cylinder seal in gray black stone. Painstakingly carved in the round with scene of 3 animals larger of which possibly depicts a standing antelope (or mouflon) with baby beneath her legs and another youngster behind. In the area above are perhaps a group of birds, a human figure standing to their rear. Size: .875" H (2.2 cm)
