Serving Plate with Flower Basket Motif : Nuremberg, 1st half of the 18th century Oval, eight-piece curved form with reinforced rim on nine volute feet, in the centre a large basket with blossoms and feather leaves surrounded by insects, in the eight arched fields alternating a fruit basket with a pair of birds and a flower basket on a pedestal. Ovale, achtpassig geschweifte Form mit verstaerktem Rand auf neun Volutenfuessen, im Zentrum grosser Korb mit Blueten und Fiederblaettern umgeben von Insekten, in den acht Randbogenfeldern alternierend Fruechtekorb mit Vogelpaar und Blumenkorb auf Postament.
