Description
Iron ikkaku barrel dating from the late Edo period decorated with a slightly overpolished carp in a waterfall in rubbed sahari and gold nunome, hakkaku cannon barrel, at the top of the barrel sodetoshi motomeate (rear sight), kata sakimeate (front sight), inscribed "Yenamiya (...) Soji Kao". Smooth brass lock with internal spring, bolt action defective, fire pan missing. Iron hammer. Black lacquered wood stock of Bizen type with gold lacquered aoi mon.
Barrel length 69 cm, overall length 96 cm, 32 mm calibre (50 monme).
