Description
Iron ikkaku barrel dating from the late Edo period decorated with phoenixes and aoi mon in rubbed sahari and gold nunome, hakkaku cannon barrel with offset sahari band. At the top of the barrel chikiri motomeate (rear sight), sodegata sakimeate (front sight), and owner’s name "Nakayama Dai Yukinori Kore No Karazu". Smooth brass lock with internal spring, iron hammer. Black lacquered stock of Bizen type with various gold lacquered mon, ramrod missing. Barrel length 70 cm, overall length 102 cm, 18.2 mm calibre (10 monme).
