Description
Shortened iron ikkaku barrel decorated with dragons and aoi mon in rubbed sahari gold nunome with traces of corrosion, ikkaku cannon muzzle with sahari band ornaments, soldered in a staggered fashion to the barrel bore, at the top of the barrel chikiri motomeate (rear sight) and sodegata sakimeate (front sight), and owner’s name "Hizen No Kami Kore No Karazu". Brass lock engraved with scrolling karakusa, internal lock, defective bolt action. Iron hammer with shippo ornaments and sahari inlays. Black lacquered stock of Bizen type with gold lacquered aoi mon. Ramrod missing. Barrel length 47 cm, overall length 78 cm, 15.4 mm calibre (5.5 monme).
