A lovely quality Land Grant with Map, to David Coalfax of 1,000 Acres “in the District of Orangeburg...” Attached to the Land Grant by a ribbon is a 13” x 8” Certification Document, Signed by William Minor. A Hand-drawn Map of the surveyed area is also present. The Documents are boldly printed on heavy laid watermarked period paper with folds. Some minor splits and tears along centerfold. Overall a very clean, boldly written and attractive Document. He was held as a prisoner of war by the British from 1780-1782.
