Durch ein Wolkenband in zwei Register geteiltes Bildfeld. Zentral im oberen Bereich die vor einer Strahlenmandorla stehende Gottesmutter, mit dem über ihre ausgestreckten Arme gelegten Schleiertuch. Gerahmt wird sie von den Erzengeln. Über ihr erscheint Christus Emmanuel in einer Aureole mit drei roten Seraphim vor einer reich ornamentierten Kirchenarchitektur. Zu beiden Seiten reihen sich Apostel und weitere Heilige. Im Zentrum des unteren Registers steht Romanos der Melod. Rechts weist Andreas, der Narr in Christo Epiphanias auf die Vision hin. In Feinmalerei ausgeführte Ikone. Die Gesichtszüge sind sehr weich modelliert. Die Gewänder mit reicher Goldverzierung. Besonders detailliert gemalte Kirchenarchitektur.
