The figures rendered with classical proportions. Their faces painted in great detail. The garments opulently adorned with gold patterns. Umringt wird diese Szene von den zwšlf Hochfesten des orthodoxen Kirchenjahres: Geburt der Gottesmutter, Tempelgang Mariae, VerkŸndigung, Geburt Christi, Darbringung im Tempel, Taufe Christi, Einzug nach Jerusalem, VerklŠrung, Himmelfahrt, Himmelfahrt Christi, Dreifaltigkeit (alttestamentlicher Typus), Entschlafen der Gottesmutter und Kreuzerhebung.
