Native American, Four Corners area, Anasazi, ca. 1050 to 1200 CE. Sweet and petite pottery vessel decorated with very fine geometric patterns including lightning motifs and thin ruled lines. With bulbous base, straight narrow neck and adorable handle. Decorated with abstract animal head. Nice example! Size: 4" H.
Provenance: Ex-private Los Angeles, CA collection, acquired on private Colorado ranch in the 1970s.
