Monumentale opera di catalogazione delle specie vegetali endemiche dell’isola d’Ischia, in cui i generi delle piante sono raccolti in ordini naturali, ad opera del noto botanico di corte prima con Francesco I e poi con Ferdinando II di Borbone. Inarime è il Nome Poetico dato all'isola d'Ischia. Lo si incontra per la prima volta in Virgilio (Eneide IX, 716).
