Description
A pair of US Civil War soldier carte de visites. First is an unnamed union soldier with rare calvary kepi style, crossed swords patch sewn on and m1860 sword and riding leather trouser covers. On the back is the logo for Moore Bros Photographic Gallery in Springfield, Massachusetts. Second is a photo of corporal Albro Weir in full uniform of overcoat and striped pants, 25th Regiment, Conn volunteers, Company D. Discharged August, 26, 1863. On the back is the logo for Bartlett and Webster Photographers, Hartford, Connecticut.
Condition
Each CDV is in very good condition with minor wear and staining on the back. The CDV of Corporal Weir has his name written on the back. Each photo: h. 4", w. 2.5"
