A pair of Roman silver coins. Lot includes a Roman Republican Denarius of moneyor L. Thorius Balbus, c. 105 BC, struck in Rome, the obverse depicts Juno Sospita and the reverse a charging bull, Dia: 20 mm, 3.81 g. The second coin depicts the empress Faustina Jr., the wife of Marcus Aurelius, silver denarius struck c. AD 176 in her memory at Rome, an altar on the reverse, Dia: 18 mm, 2.73g.
