Description
A group of 3 Roman silver coins. Lot includes a denarius of Antoninus Pius, (AD 138-161), Rome mint, the reverse depicting the Genius of the Senate. (17.5nn, 2.92g). The second is a denarius of Septimius Severus, (AD 193-211), Rome mint, the reverse with Roma seated lt. (20mm, 3.62g). The last is a denarius of Geta Caesar, (AD 198-209), Rome Mint, the prince standing before a trophy on the reverse. (18.5mm, 2.89g). All nice examples with attractive toning. Ex Chicago private collection.
