Description
A group of 3 Roman silver coins. Lot includes a Roman Republic Denarius, c. 194 - 190 BC, head of Roma rt. / Victory in a biga rt. Aurelia 1, (17 mm, 3.45g). The second a Denarius of Septimius Severus, AD 193 - 211, with Roma standing on the reverse, (18.5 mm, 2.76g), and the last is a Denarius of Geta Caesar, c. AD 198 - 208, with Felicitas standing on the reverse. (19 mm, 3.31g). All are in nice condition, the Republic Denarius attractively toned. Ex Chicago private collection.
