Description
A pair of nice Roman silver coins. The first is a silver Denarius of the emperor Domitian, AD 81 - 96, and depicts Minerva advancing rt. on the reverse. (19mm, 3.26g). The second is a Denarius of Antoninus Pius, AD 138 - 161, and features right hands clasped around a caduceus and corn-ears on the reverse. (18.5mm, 3.23g). Each in great condition and attractively toned. Ex Chicago private collection.
