Description
Native American, Southern and Southwestern United States, Southern Plains region, Plains Indians, ca. first half of the 20th century CE. An attractive wooden bow carved from caramel-hued wood and adorned with zigzagging arrows and large Xs painted in black. The midsection features a bulging grip for increased control. Both terminals are notched to accommodate the attachment of the sinew bow string. Size: 1.1" W x 55.4" H (2.8 cm x 140.7 cm)

Condition
Minor abrasions to bow and light fraying to string, otherwise intact and very good. Nice patina and remains of black pigment throughout.
