Native American, Plains Indians, ca. 1920 CE. A beautiful pair of colorful beaded moccasins! Lane-stitched with opaque and translucent glass seed beads of spearmint green, gold ochre, deep crimson, royal blue, sky blue, white, and scarlet red hues - a virtual rainbow! Each shoe is decorated with a central multi-colored V-shaped motif on the vamp, striations encircling the foot, additional beaded designs covering the soles, and stripes adorning a horseshoe attachment below the rawhide laces. Size: 8.5" L x 3.5" W x 1.5" H (21.6 cm x 8.9 cm x 3.8 cm)
