This roach is mounted to the wood mannequin form with nails. Roaches were worn by many tribes east of the Rocky Mountains in combat and ceremonial dances by men as status symbols, the red symbolized combat or veteran status. Roaches are still worn today in dancing events and pow wows. Size: 22" L x 11" W x 6" H (55.9 cm x 27.9 cm x 15.2 cm); 13" H (33 cm) on included custom stand.
