Ancient Central Asia, Bactrian, ca. 3rd to 2nd millennium BCE. A fine collection of 12 cast-bronze cloak pins of varying sizes presented in a myriad of different styles. The largest pin has a fluted finial and a grooved handle; 6 pins have rounded finial heads; 1 pin has a simple conical head; 1 pin has a handle incised with stacked cubes; 1 pin has a fist-shaped finial; 1 pin has a four-petal flower finial which perhaps doubled as a stamp seal; and the smallest has a multi-lobed finial resembling a mace head. Size of largest (fluted finial): 10.125" L x 1" W (25.7 cm x 2.5 cm).
