Description
**First Time At Auction**
Roman, late Imperial Period, ca. 4th century CE. An elegant glass jar composed of translucent, mold-formed glass of a yellow-green color. The vessel is defined by a slightly concave base, a spherical body embellished with dozens of diagonal, pattern-molded ribs, a sloping shoulder, and a tall, flared rim. Light encrustations are scattered across the interior and exterior surfaces, though areas of fiery rainbow-hued iridescence are visible across the composition. Size: 3.25" W x 3.8" H (8.3 cm x 9.7 cm).

Condition
Minor abrasions across most surfaces, light encrustations, and very light micro-bubbling within glass matrix, otherwise intact and excellent. Nice earthen deposits and fiery rainbow iridescence throughout.
