ANCIENT Egyptian Faience Ushabti Late Period, ca. 700-30 B.C.Size:6 1/2 inches high.Large Molded blue-green glazed faience pottery standing mummiform ushabti, depicted wearing the royal wig and beard, holding implements in both hands, seed sack over left shoulder. Three horizontal glyph bands on waist and two additional glyph registers down his legs. Some high point losses to face and right hand, otherwise intact. Old custom wood base.Provenance:Collection of Nicholas Kronwall, AZ. Purchased from Greg Manning Auctions, 1996.
