Presenting a trio of ancient beads known as 'Hepy', this lot hails from the storied Middle Kingdom of Egypt, approximately dating back to ca. 1950–1885 B.C. Crafted from faience and alabaster, the beads vary in size from 12 to 19 mm, reflecting the period's high level of craftsmanship in small-scale artifacts. These pieces originate from the Memphite Region, specifically unearthed from Lisht South, tomb west of the tomb of Senwosretankh, Pit 3, Burial of Hepy.
