Near East, Iran, Marlik culture, early Iron Age, ca. 900 BCE. A small pottery bowl done in the simple style of Marlik, with a rounded handle from one side of the rim and a small spout at a 90 degree angle from it. The piece has a pleasing simplicity and asymmetricality. Size: 5.15" L x 5" W x 2.2" H (13.1 cm x 12.7 cm x 5.6 cm)
Provenance: Ex - Zwar collection acquired in various galleries in Tehran between 1977 and 1979
