Description
PILLAR-MOLDED GLOBE LANTERN, colorless, pyriform with eight pronounced ribs and applied upper and lower rings, original pierced sheet-iron upper mount and ring handle, later removable lower mount fitted with a candle socket. Later gold paint. Probably the Pittsburgh area or possibly New England. 1845-1870. 16 3/4" HOA, 7" H globe.
Glass undamaged, metal with light denting and possible small repairs, screws replaced.
