Item Details

Description

Early fixed globe lantern likely made by the New England Glass Company. The globe is etched PRR and is assumed to be for the Passumpsic Railroad as opposed to the Pennsylvania. The top has moderate denting, and has a tag with number 208 in serif font. Globe is clean and the PRR is wheel cut into the globe. Star pattern twist off base with burner pot, found, and Miller wick raiser. There are no major issues other than the denting in the top, See photos for best description.
