Description

Wow! I've not seen this model lantern before. It has some unique properties: (1) Brass top with top "skirt" (2) 6 loose verticals from both the top and the bottom assemblies (3) 2 bail clips - one on the top cage, one on the bottom cage. (4) It is marked PAT APPLD FOR" on the base assembly. Another great feature is the free blown solid cranberry globe that measures 5 1/2" tall, 3 1/8" top diameter, 3 1/2" bottom diameter. The globe is a nice snug fit. The globe has a couple of minor flakes. It has a tall base that takes a pinch pot. The pinch pot is brass and it has an odd brass burner. The bell looks like it was re-soldered at some point. The cage with two clips is a hoot. A nice rare piece.
