(1752 - 1825) American revolutionary patriot and physician, Brooks was a Concord Minuteman who also helped fortify Bunker Hill on the night preceding the battle. Partly-printed D.S. as Governor, 1p. oblong 8vo., Boston, Jan. 14, 1817, the appointment of Samuel J. Prescott to serve as a Justice of the Peace in Suffolk. Very good.
